We operate a small family business under the guidance of Vincent, a dedicated and passionate leader committed to both car mechanics and community development. Our garage is not just a repair shop; it functions as a dynamic learning centre where aspiring enthusiasts can receive hands-on training and evolve into proficient mechanics with Vincent's guidance. We began our journey with MJ Mechanical in South Hobart, taking over the reins from our beloved Steve and Nikki in December 2021. At 82, Steve was preparing for retirement, but his tireless dedication and exceptional skill left a lasting impression on us—especially on Vincent, who was inspired to strive for excellence in the field of mechanics.
What began as a small venture started by Vincent has grown into a dedicated team of two skilled mechanics and one committed admin, all working together to support the South Hobart community. It’s been a true pleasure to build this team and work alongside such passionate individuals.

In 2023, MJ Mechanical initiated an exciting expansion. Acquiring the Rokeby Service Centre on May 19th was a strategic step to enhance our growth objectives. Subsequently, we rebranded it as MJ Mechanical - Rokeby, ensuring alignment with our brand values and quality benchmarks. This expansion not only enriches our range of services but also extends our reach, allowing us to better serve our community.
